Hello Friends,
We’re excited to be putting out our very first Newsletter! The past few months have been very
busy trying to make this dream a reality. We got rolling with our logo design, started the necessary legal
paper work to establish ourselves as a non-profit, launched our beautiful website, and set up our
GoFundMe campaign so we can finally start working towards raising money to do the first room! We are
so excited and grateful for the tremendous amount of support we have received so far, and know will
continue to pour in. It is truly humbling to see how blessed we are to be surrounded by such an
incredible network of people that want to help bring this project to fruition.
We wanted to update you all on a few things we have going on. The first is the website, which
was designed by the incredibly talented www.responsival.com . We highly recommend them to anyone
looking to get a website up and running. They truly took our vision and turned it in to a user friendly
master piece. Next, is the status of the first room. We are in communication with the Child Life
Department of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC working towards selecting the candidates for
the first few rooms. Once we have fundraised enough and worked out all the details we will get started
on the rooms! The lovely Madisyn Fecko, whose bio is now posted under our Tribe, will be taking
pictures which will later be posted on the website so you can all see behind the doors, and witness the
direct impact your support has had on these children’s lives. As I mentioned earlier the GoFundMe
campaign is now up and running under the donation tab located on the website. All donations will be
processed through that and allow us to tackle some of the start-up costs as well as get a more realistic
idea as to how many rooms we can start planning to do, and when we can start exploring expanding to
other locations.
Again, we cannot thank you all enough for coming alongside us on this journey. God’s call has
been so strong on our hearts and we are so happy to be moving forward with this project. Thank you for
your continued prayer, support and love it truly means the world to us. We hope that you will continue
to share our website, social media accounts, and story with those around you so we can have the
biggest and best impact possible! Thank you for helping us pursue our passion, we hope you continue to
pursue yours.
